Series DRS1

DRS1: Double rotary table grinding machine with automatic working process

We propose a second hand double rotary table grinding machine of the series DRS1. The series DRS is the predecessor of the series DRG.

• special grinding motor 37 kW, approx. 1,500 rpm
• motor designed with electro-magnetic brake and automatic star-delta switching for automatic change of the direction of rotation
• 1 clamping flange for grinding wheels with 450 mm Ø
• 1 variable speed gearbox for automatic working cycle of the grinding head, with infinitely variable changeover from rapid feed to grinding feed and with preselectable spark-out time via timer 0–60 s including rapid traverse for moving the grinding head up and down
• automatic compensation of grinding wheel wear and approaching of the finished size via electronic measuring controls
• 2 mechanical rotary table gears with motors approx. 1.3 kW, 700 / 1,400 rpm (fast speed for grinding process, slow speed for loading)
• rotary table bearing in reinforced design 350 mm diameter
• 2-speed brake motor for control of the horizontal table
• complete electrical installation for three-phase 400 volts, including programmable logic controller (in separate electrical cabinet)
• machine feet
• equipped for wet grinding, but without water basin and pump
• painting: RAL 6011 (green) 
• 2 pieces Electro-magnetic round chuck 700 mm Ø, ring pole pitch 8 mm, in compact design
• magnets completely assembled, including rectifier and automatic pole reversal with holding force control
• cooling water system with dirt lifting station and high tank as well as magnet rejector and one clean water and one dirty water pump.
